The Tamil Nadu government has issued a government order outlining the revised electricity tariff to reduce the bill amount. Customers who use less than 500 units bimonthly will receive the first 200 units of each payment cycle for free. It increases the total number of free units to 200 by adding 100 to the previous 100. Furthermore, under the current plan, consumption surpassing 500 units remains free for the first 100 units.

DeleteSubtract the current reading with the previous reading (look at the EB meter reading card) to find the present electricity usage. Then enter the reading value in the software to calculate the bill.
